About Us

Many years, a mountain of exposed film and countless hours staring at a film scanner (while it scanned film at a rate slightly slower than continental drift) gets you this website. Trinidad Dreamscape is a film photography website with pictures presented here as a national service to the people of Trinidad & Tobago. Our pictures have been recorded on the cusp of an epoch in Trinidad's development where many things changed and where some things disappeared forever. Even as the natural landscape of Trinidad and Tobago is altered over the years the pictures on Trinidad Dreamscape remain frozen in time; a glimpse of a dreamscape.

Technical Note

Much of the former iteration of the website has been removed. We will add a few more pictures and maybe an article or so over time. Please note that we use film large format view cameras and medium format cameras only; no digital cameras (read why). We are one of the few remaining 8x10 and 4x5 large format film landscape photographers left in the world.
